Intentional Contracting Inc. renovated this cottage in Healdsburg, California, from the floor up. Working side by side with owner and interior designer, Mrs. Jois Belfield, I/C brought the existing home down to the subfloor and created this enchanting cottage with many detailed finishes. An example of I/C’s craftsmanship can be found in the detail of the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. I/C sourced lumber from an old tobacco barn from back East and hand built these cabinets onsite and in-house with our own talented crewmembers.
HEALDSBURG COTTAGE
Intentional Contracting Inc. restored this beautiful, historical home in Healdsburg, California that was originally built in 1889 by Healdsburg’s Judge Coffman. I/C renovated the home’s interior and built an addition to house a new master bedroom and bathroom. Renovation included a new kitchen, redesigning the stairway to the second level, renovation of the common living spaces, and second floor bedrooms. I/C’s intentionality can be seen throughout the home’s finishes, from the living room’s coffered ceilings, custom cabinets in the kitchen, and to the exterior of the addition where we continued the design of the historical home’s exterior.
Since 1958, the Young family have been farming their land in the beautiful Alexander Valley, and in 1997, founded the Robert Young Estate Winery. In 2018, the Young family decided to expand their winery to include a new hospitality location. The Youngs hired Intentional Contracting Inc. to build their custom hospitality location, the Scion House. During the design process, it was important to the Youngs to ensure their hospitality building to be built as a “home”. Intentional Contracting Inc. worked hand in hand with the Youngs and Wade Design to accomplish this goal.
